Obama's Day, Sept. 24: UN General Assembly Meeting

President Obama will appear on The View and attend the 67th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2012

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch. This lunch in the Private Dining Room is closed press. 

Later in the afternoon, the President will travel to New York City. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport are open press.

While in New York City, the President and the First Lady will tape an appearance on The View. There will be a stills only pool spray of the taping.

In the evening, the President will participate in the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and attend a reception for visiting Heads of State and Government. The First Lady will also attend the reception. The event is closed press.

The President will remain in New York City overnight.
