In the morning, the President will deliver a statement on Tropical Storm Isaac. The statement in the Diplomatic Room is pooled press.

In the morning, the President will depart the White House en route Ames, Iowa. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at Des Moines International Airport are open press.

While in Ames, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at Iowa State University. This campaign event is open to pre-credentialed media.

In the afternoon, the President will depart Ames, Iowa en route Fort Collins, Colorado. The departure from Des Moines International Airport and the arrival at Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport are open press.

While in Fort Collins, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at Colorado State University. This campaign event is open to pre-credentialed media.

The President will remain overnight in Fort Collins, Colorado.
