Watch This: Biden's NAACP Speech

Presdent Obama "has put the country first," the vice president told the nation's largest civil rights group.

Vice President Joe Biden addressed the NAACP today, rallying support for President Barack Obama and assuring the nation's largest civil rights organization that Obama has the "character of his convictions."

Biden reminded the group that Obama championed a landmark health care law, launched the mission that killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and stepped in to rescue the financial system and U.S. automakers General Motors and Chrysler. "He has put country first," Biden said.
