President Barack Obama accepts a bowl of shamrocks from Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny as first lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden look on during a reception in the East Room of the White House on March 20. The president wore greenery in his suit pocket in honor of the Irish leader's visit, which included a working day devoted to discussions on economic matters and foreign-policy issues.
