Obama: Democrat Voters Need to 'Buck Up'

The president offers tough talk to waffling Democrats.

President Obama is putting his foot down with Democratic voters, saying it would be "inexcusable" to sit out this election cycle over apathy. In a Rolling Stone interview, the president compares energized Republican voters with apathetic Democratic voters, which could have dire consequences for the country if Republicans regain the House and more control in the Senate. The president says that Democrats need to "buck up." As usual, while Democrats are whining and complaining, Republicans are gearing up to take over. When will Democratic voters learn to stay the course even in tough times? Finally some tough talk from the president, and we couldn't agree more.
