A Kinder, Gentler Tea Party on Independence Day

Tea Party teaches Constitution on Independence Day.

The Tea Party is changing tactics. Over the Fourth of July weekend, the Tea Party organized special events that emphasized the U.S. Constitution. Events included festivals, book club meetings and classes to teach party members how to use the one "inviolable" document to defend their beliefs and country, the U.S. Constitution. The Tea Party wants members to truly understand the document so that they can properly support and defend Tea Party candidates who are true to the cause. They must have reviewed all of the footage of Tea Party members shouting racial epithets, spitting on black folks and brandishing fire arms. It may be a good idea to get that in check. Now party leaders want to educate Tea Party members so they know what they are talking about? Novel concept.
