Pew Report: 'Muslim World' Disappointed in America and Obama

Ratings for President Obama and the country decline this year in Pew Global Attitudes survey.

Although President Obama's popularity is still decent in the United States, his popularity among Muslims throughout the world has fallen. One year after President Obama's pioneering speech in Cairo, he is viewed with more skepticism by the Muslim world. His decline in popularity is tied to his perceived lack of follow-through on bridging Western and Muslim relations and to the United States' continued military presence in Muslim countries, according to a Pew Global Attitudes Survey. While this isn't a great thing and the president could do better when it comes to Muslim relations in this country and abroad, at least now some extremist Republicans and Tea Party members may actually understand that he isn't a Muslim. Nah.
