A 29-year-old woman says she is infuriated with education officials for failing to protect her daughter from being sexually assaulted at her Brooklyn, N.Y., middle school, the New York Daily News reports.

“It’s disgusting for a parent to learn her daughter was almost raped inside a school building,” she said.

The attacks reportedly occurred at Ocean Hill Collegiate Charter School on Sept. 30 and Oct. 6.

According to the Daily News, four boys were arrested in the two separate attacks. The boys, ages 12-14, attend Mott Hall No. 4 Middle School, which is located in the same building. The victim has since transferred to another school.

The mother told the Daily News she was also upset that the principal of the school did not learn of the incidents until after the second attack, which reportedly occurred in a basement stairwell and was reported by a custodian.

Both attacks were recorded on video.
