It wasn't hard singling out glamorous media maven Tamron Hall for accolades. The busy news anchor already had two high-profile jobs -- anchoring NewsNation with Tamron Hall on MSNBC and working as a substitute anchor for The Today Show -- but her third and latest ambitious gig comes from a deeply personal place. Launched this September, Hall now hosts Deadline: Crime With Tamron Hall on the cable channel Investigation Discovery. The idea for the show came from a place of loss for Hall, whose older sister Renate, a victim of domestic violence, was killed in 2004 in a case that to this day remains unsolved. On the new show, Hall is able to open up about the personal effect crime has on its victims and survivors.
