  • Bio: Wade Davis II is a former pro football player who courageously revealed this summer that he is gay, making him the third former NFL player to come out as openly gay. While he was not the highest-profile NFL player, the announcement resonated because of his membership in the closely guarded fraternity. "Your biggest fear is that you'll lose that camaraderie and family," Davis told OutSports. "I think about how close I was with [former teammates] Jevon [Kearse] and Samari [Rolle]. It's not like they'd like me less; it's that they have to protect their own brand." Today he is more concerned about serving as an LGBT youth advocate. "I want to have a real impact on these kids' lives," he told OutSports. Like his Facebook page.
