Authorities have positively identified the body pulled from Lake Charles in Indiana as missing Michigan doctor Teleka Patrick, USA Today reports.

It is believed that the Kalamazoo, Mich., doctor drowned, and to date, investigators do not believe that foul play was involved, since no trauma was found on her body, the news site notes. Toxicology reports, however, are expected to confirm the official cause and manner of death, Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller announced in a press conference on Wednesday.

Her body was found clothed, along with car keys, $100 in cash and a pager.

Lake Charles had previously been searched as recently as last week, but it was only a few days later, on Sunday, that a fisherman came across the body. Ice had impeded the original searches.

Patrick’s abandoned car was found on Dec. 5 in northwestern Indiana.

According to USA Today, Fuller referred to Patrick as "troubled," noting incidents when she checked herself into motels and hotels.
