Lupita Nyong’o, 12 Years a Slave breakout star and media darling, is rumored to be the next female lead in Star Wars: Episode VII.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Nyong’o met with Star Wars producer J.J. Abrams a few weeks before the Academy Awards, where she took home the best supporting actress statuette for the epic tale.

Since her Oscar win, the next move for Nyong’o has been all the talk around Hollywood.

In the last few weeks, Nyong’o’s name has been in the mix for several high-profile roles, including Tiger Lily in Warner Bros.’s Pan and opposite Daniel Craig in the courtroom drama The Whole Truth, the Hollywood Reporter notes.

Because of all the secrecy surrounding the movie, it’s unclear which role Nyong’o could be up for. The Hollywood Reporter’s sources say one possibility could be as a descendant of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
