On Wednesday, authorities arrested a Texas man in connection with the deaths of two women, one of whom was his daughter. According to Lone Star Q, James Larry Cosby was charged with evidence tampering.

Cosby was allegedly "not happy" about his daughter Britney Cosby's relationship with girlfriend Crystal Jackson. Britney's body, along with that of her partner of two years, was found next to a Dumpster near Galveston last Friday. Both women, from Houston, were 24.

According to the Lone Star Q, authorities haven't identified a motive. "I know the family was not happy with the girls' lifestyle that they led, so I don't know," Maj. Darrell Isaacks of the
Galveston County Sheriff's Department told the new site on Thursday. "Apparently some of the detectives had talked to family members, and they were not very happy with the lifestyle that they lived."

Jackson's father, who is reportedly a preacher, also disapproved of the women's relationship, according to Lone Star Q.

The women lived in the home of Britney Cosby's grandmother, as does James Cosby. Investigators think the women were killed at the residence. Cosby is currently being held on a $500,000 bond. Police say his charges could be bumped up to capital murder.
