When Sasha Obama went to the Comcast Center to watch her Uncle Craig's Oregon State Beavers destroy the Maryland Terps last Sunday, I doubt she thought her black sweater with the unicorn on the front was making a fashion statement.

Turns out, her sweater was the real winner that night—at least for ASOS. The online retailer sold out of the black crewneck with the embellished mystical being on the front, shortly after word hit the Twitterverse.

According to Huffington Post, ASOS initially said they wouldn’t be restocking the sweater, which retails for $62.29 but had been on sale for less than $20 prior to the young fashionista rocking it the game. After cool kids pressured the retailer to bring the beloved garment back, ASOS announced on a blog post on Thursday that the unicorn sweater will return in early December.

This is all old hat for big sister Malia, however. Her J.Crew coat from the presidential inauguration was all the rage until the retailer announced that they no longer stocked it.

Knowing how the fashion blogs, magazines and talk shows love to break down the amazingness that is everything Michelle wears, it's safe to say that the young style stars get it from their mama.
