Bruno Mars' Mother Dies at 55

The singer behind "When I Was Your Man" endured a terrible loss on Saturday.

The mother of singer Bruno Mars passed away on Saturday. She was 55, according to the Associated Press

Bernadette Hernandez died Saturday of a brain aneurysm, according to a publicist for Mars' label, Atlantic Records, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak on the record ...

She died in Honolulu at Queens Medical Center; no other information was given.

Introduced to many through his "Nothin’ on You" duet with MC B.o.B, Mars is a Grammy Award-winning artist, famous for his emotional lyrics and energetic performances.
