Black TV Watch: Racist Zombies on 'Key & Peele'

The duo can walk calmly among the undead. Plus: There's an annoying guy in a Michael Jackson Halloween costume.

Key and Peele in "Suburban Zombie" sketch (

(The Root) -- What do you think about when you think about Halloween? Zombies? Costume parties? That's normal. But what if those zombies were more than twisted and those costumes were a little out of date? Welcome to Key & Peele's Halloween.

Key & Peele (Wednesdays, 10:30 p.m. EST; Comedy Central)

"These are some racist motherf---ing zombies!" --Key

"They seriously wouldn't let her eat us!" --Key

Highlight: Key and Peele are stuck in a town that's been overrun with zombies. They're running through the streets, scared witless, until they realize that these zombies are not going to attack them because the zombies are racist. So this skit ends like all good zombie movies should: with a backyard barbecue.

"Whoo-hoo!" --Michael Jackson

Highlight: When a man throws a Halloween party and he asks his friends to attend, he's pretty supportive of their costumes. Until one friend arrives dressed as Michael Jackson and will not stop with the impressions. He's such a superfan, you think he'd know that Michael has been dead for the past few years. Welp. Guess not.
