Solange on Carol's Daughter split: "I'm actually no longer a part of Carol's Daughter, but throughout my entire time working with them, I was constantly fighting for the right message to be heard," she told Lurve Magazine in a recent interview. "The message that the way we wear our hair is a personal choice; there's no right or wrong way. One way doesn't make us more intelligent, or more superficial, and everyone makes that choice for very different reasons."

Study: Latino stereotypes thrive: The research by the National Hispanic Media Coalition focused on negative media narratives and portrayals. No big surprise, but they're still around.

Mariah: I'm not feuding with Nicki Minaj: Mariah Carey says that, contrary to the rumors, everything is fine between the two American Idol judges.

Romney releases 2011 tax returns: At 3 p.m. today, the Romney for President campaign published the complete 2011 tax return, with full schedules, statements and attachments.
