Carol's Daughter

Solange on Carol's Daughter split: "I'm actually no longer a part of Carol's Daughter, but throughout my entire time working with them, I was constantly fighting for the right message to be heard," she told Lurve Magazine in a recent interview. One way doesn't make us more intelligent, or more superficial, and everyone makes that choice for very different reasons."

Study: Latino stereotypes thrive: The research by the National Hispanic Media Coalition focused on negative media narratives and portrayals. No big surprise, but they're still around.
