Lianne La Havas Readies Her British Invasion

The Root Recommends: Her album's title song, "Is Your Love Big Enough?" hits iTunes Tuesday.

Warner Bros.

British songstress Lianne La Havas has made plenty of headlines with her soft, soulful vocals, and after more than a year of buzz from The Root and others, the singer is finally set to drop her debut album Is Your Love Big Enough? in the U.S. on August 7.

If that's too long to wait, fans can download the title track from iTunes on June 26.

La Havas has already released three teaser singles from the forthcoming album, including the blues-inspired "No Room for Doubt," which features folk and country singer Willy Mason. And prior to that, she dropped four EPs full of great songs that have earned her loads of critical acclaim.

It looks like La Havas' rise to the big leagues is well-earned indeed.
