'Think Like a Man' Projected to Top Box Office

Steve Harvey's Think Like a Man expected to top the box office, beating out The Hunger Games.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Think Like a Man is expected to top the box office, beating out Zac Efron's The Lucky One and the highly popular teen sensation, The Hunger Games. The film, drawn from Steve Harvey's book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, stars a primarily African-American cast including Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy, Meagan Goode and Romany Malco.

The Hollywood Reporter reports:  

The African-American-themed Think Like a Man -- based on Steve Harvey's best-selling advice book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man -- scored a surprising $500,000 in Thursday midnight runs and is overperforming Friday. Early estimates show it grossing in the $9 million range for the day, and between $20 million and $25 million for the weekend.
