Watch This: 2012 Campaign 'Nastiest' Ever?

John McCain says so, and he thinks it will help President Obama.

During an appearance on Meet the Press this weekend, John McCain was asked by David Gregory for his take on the race for the Republican nomination so far. McCain called the 2012 race the "nastiest" he's ever seen, blaming the many ads put out by super PACs for the hostility. In his view, the negativity will end up helping President Obama in the fall.
