Watch This: 'I Want to Talk About an Injustice'

Bryan Stevenson breaks down the inequalities in our justice system at TED2012.

Human rights attorney Bryan Stevenson, founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative, gave this rousing, personal talk at last week's TED Conference in Long Beach, Calif. He spoke about a civil rights issue that plagues African Americans in contemporary society -- the racial imbalance in our criminal justice system -- and how we "insulate" ourselves from the huge problem.

"We have a system in this country that treats us much better if you're rich and wealthy than if you're poor and innocent," he told the audience. The speech is almost 23 minutes, but it's worth the watch.
