VIDEO: The Year in Racial Justice

Can you believe this all happened in 2011?


From Beyoncé in blackface to the rise and fall of Herman Cain, the riots in London, Troy Davis' execution, Occupy Wall Street, the viral-video bigotry of a UCLA undergrad and families shattered by immigration policy, ColorLines has pulled together a video capturing what the site calls "The Year in Racial Justice, 2011." 

We'd call it "The Year in Racial Justice (or Lack Thereof)." It's inspiring, infuriating and revealing all at once and has us bracing ourselves for 2012.
