Michael Jackson stars in graphic novel: Michael Jackson, the Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears are some of the stars headlining a new release of Fame biography graphic novels, starting this month.

Comcast-NBCU under fire for not moving fast enough on diversity: When Comcast was angling to take over NBCU, the cable giant promised prominently to increase the profile of minorities at the company and launch eight independent cable networks, including four under African-American control. But African-American media figures and civil rights leaders say that Comcast doesn't seem to be moving fast enough, if at all.

HIV infections mostly stable but increasing among young gay black men: New data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that the largest increases in HIV infection in the United States were among bisexual men and men who have sex with men (MSM). Of that group, young black men had what the agency called "alarming increases."
