The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the 2011 nominees for prime-time Emmys this morning. Among the nominees were Taraji P. Henson, who was nominated for best lead actress in a miniseries or movie for her role in Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story. Idris Elba and Laurence Fishburne will compete against each other in the category of lead actor in a miniseries or movie. Elba was nominated for his performance in the miniseries Luther and Fishburne for his lead role in Thurgood

We wish the nominees good luck with what is sure to be stiff competition this year.
