Yes, Push (the book behind Precious) is on the list, which was compiled by the Altanta Post.

Michael Vick's dog kennel purchased: Bad Newz Kennels, the house where football star Mike Vick used to breed and fight dogs, has been purchased by an animal-rescue organization and will now be called "Dogs Deserve better." The Pennsylvania-based philanthropic organization is said to have paid about $600,000 for the Surry County, Va., five-bedroom home to use as a rehabilitation center for dogs.

Gabrielle Union's upcoming acting gigs: Someone's going to be busy. She's landed roles in the film adaptation of Steve Harvey's best-seller, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man; Tyler Perry's Good Deeds; and the indie dramedy Family Tree.
