Comedian Tracy Morgan Recovering From Kidney Transplant

The hard-living comedian is taking it easy after major surgery.

Tracy Morgan is reporting that comedian Tracy Morgan is recovering from a kidney transplant operation he had earlier in December. The 30 Rock actor, who suffers from diabetes, underwent surgery on Dec. 10, 2010. Media outlets began reporting the surgery yesterday, saying that Morgan will be noticeably absent from two episodes of 30 Rock in the spring because of the surgery. Morgan's co-star Grizz Chapman underwent the same procedure earlier this year. We're wishing the funny man a speedy recovery and hope that he'll give the wild partying and drinking a rest. Kidneys are not easy to come by -- at least not for regular folks.
