Rand Paul Supporters Wrestle Woman to the Ground

Is this politics or the WWE?

Republican candidate Rand Paul

Fresh from our "You've gotta be kidding me" file, Lauren Valle of MoveOn.org told Louisville, Ky., station WDRB that she was wrestled to the ground when trying to confront Republican candidate Rand Paul Monday night in Lexington right before a debate between Paul and Democratic opponent Jack Conway. Valle alleges that she was "manhandled" by supporters after trying to present Rand with a fake award. Not only did Rand's supporters pin her down, but a man also stepped on her head in the process. No one was arrested in the scuffle. Pinning a woman to the ground and stepping on her head for protesting? Shaking our heads over here at The Root.
