NFRW Plays Dress-Up at Annual Board Meeting

Confederate soldiers and slaves, oh my.

The National Federation of Republican Women

Fresh from our "WTH" file, the National Federation of Republican Women held its annual fall board of directors meeting in Charleston, S.C., last weekend. At an event dubbed "The Southern Experience," members of the group dressed up in antebellum gear. Whites dressed as Confederate soldiers, and blacks dressed as slaves. The photos have already started leaking, with S.C. Senate President Glenn McConnell posing in his rebel garb with a pair of African Americans dressed as slaves. You've heard the phrase, "A picture is worth a thousand words."
