MSNBC's Tamron Hall Admits the Media Got It Wrong on Sherrod

Daytime anchor speaks the truth about the Sherrod fiasco.

MSNBC's Tamron Hall has finally said what needed to be said about the media's role in the Shirley Sherrod debacle: We got it wrong. In an interview with Death+Taxes, Hall admits that getting the Shirley Sherrod story wrong was "a real kick in the gut for credible journalists." She also said, "[The media] should be ashamed of ourselves, at what happened. Even though it was a certain blogger that started an irresponsible journey, we didn’t stop it." And yet another reason to watch Tamron Hall -- honesty and decency.
