USC is sending back Reggie Bush's Heisman Trophy. The trophy that the school has is a replica of the actual one that Bush received. In a letter sent out to the entire Trojan family, president-elect C.L. Max Nikias, who also announced that Pat Haden will replace Mike Garrett as athletic director, said, "I have instructed the senior vice president for administration to remove athletic jerseys and murals displayed in recognition of O.J. Mayo and Reggie Bush by mid-August -- before the incoming class of students moves on campus -- from Heritage Hall, the Galen Center and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The university also will return Mr. Bush's 2005 Heisman Trophy to the Heisman Trophy Trust in August." Bush and Mayo are under fire for violating NCAA rules and regulations. How is a school that looked the other way while all of this was going down trying to get a conscience now? On the other hand, we're sure that Bush's NFL championship ring will suffice.
