Sherrod Takes Fox News to Task for Role in Debacle

Embattled former USDA official is perturbed that Fox News has not corrected its story.


Much to the chagrin of the White House and Fox News, Shirley Sherrod is not going away. In an interview with Joe Strupp, she brings the discussion about the media frenzy gone horribly wrong back to Fox News, which has yet to correct its coverage despite mounting evidence that the news outlet (and the rest of the media) was duped by conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart. Sherrod makes some pointed statements about Fox News' intention to misconstrue the truth and use her as a pawn in its desire to attack African-American organizations. Neither Sherrod nor this story is going away anytime soon. If they do, it certainly won't be quietly.
