Michael Vick in Hot Water Again

The quarterback is a possible suspect in a shooting in Virginia Beach.


Lemony Snicket called and wants his title back. Dogfighting posterboy Michael Vick is in hot water again. Police say the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback has not been ruled out as a suspect or person of interest in a shooting investigation. Who got shot? Quanis Phillips, a co-defendant in the dogfighting case that sent Vick to federal prison -- and also a convicted felon. Consorting with convicted felons is a violation of parole. Vick and his attorney maintain that Vick did not invite any convicted felons to his birthday party, nor did he knowlingly socialize with any while there. They also claim that Vick left the party 20 minutes before the shooting happened. Surveillance tape from the club shows a man believed to be Vick leaving just minutes before the shooting.
