Slow and Unsure: Concerns Mount Over Slow Economic Recovery

Concerns are rising over the economic rebound that is stalling.

The economic recovery that was supposed to be kicking in by now has stalled. A report released in June showed that private employers failed to create many jobs. This type of report underscores worries that the recovery is weakening and won't be strong enough to help 15 million unemployed Americans get back to work anytime soon. There is hope that a strong jobs report coming out today will help alleviate the growing concern. Hope springs eternal. This is what happens when bills that can help stimulate the economy, like extending benefits for the unemployed, are voted against. Get ready for an even slower recovery.
