Agriculture Secretary Vilsack Reconsidering Sherrod Firing

After the truth comes out, he may reverse decision.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack says that he will reconsider his department's decision to fire Shirley Sherrod amid false allegations of racism. Sherrod was besieged by conservative pundits, the news media, the NAACP and the USDA over comments that were taken completely out of context and a doctored videotape. The NAACP has retracted its denouncement of Sherrod, and the man who sanctioned the firing is "revisiting" the decision to fire the much maligned but newly restored Shirley Sherrod. With so much energy focused on Sherrod and the White House, we wonder what, if anything, will happen to conservative con artist Andrew Breitbart and Fox News for running the story. The saga continues.
