U.S. Issues Haiti Travel Alert

Four U.S. citizens killed in separate robberies near Port-au-Prince's airport.

The U.S. embassy has issued a travel alert to U.S. citizens traveling in Haiti after the murder of four U.S. citizens near Port-au-Prince's airport. The victims were all there visiting relatives. The attacks happened over three months and in three different locations. The alert comes when many people are visiting Haiti to offer post-earthquake aid and to help with reconstruction. Bad timing doesn't even begin to describe this travesty.
