Fraternity Thinks "Compton Cookout" is Genius!

There are plenty of UCSD students on campus and elsewhere that beg to differ.

Oh, collegians. You already know the story, here's the 2010 UCSD version.

To celebrate Black History Month, a group of students, allegedly led by the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, at the University of California at San Diego held a ghetto-themed Compton Cookout. As you might imagine, the Black community at UCSD is up in arms and wants action taken against the fraternity by the university. While the university is investigating, it contends that this was not a fraternity sponsored event as opposed to individual students who had fraternity ties.
