First Lady: Reid Needn't Apologize to Me

First Lady Michelle Obama isn't waiting on an apology from Harry Reid...

The First Lady is not salty with Harry Reid and doesn't feel she needs an apology. From Politico's Nia-Malika Henderson

“Harry Reid has no need to apologize to me because I know Harry Reid. I measure people more so on what they do rather than the things they say,” said Obama, in a roundtable with several media outlets, including POLITICO.

In the wide-ranging interview, Obama discussed her new upcoming campaign to curb childhood obesity, life in the White House and the state dinner at which three alleged party crashers got in, including two who met the President Barack Obama.

Michelle Obama downplayed the incident, which raised serious concerns about White House security and Secret Service practices. And she called the party crashing a “footnote” to the night.

FLOTUS also went on to defend, without mentioning names, the much-embattled social secretary Desiree Rogers, who she thought did a wonderful job and has worked to improve security matters (Read: Desiree is my girl, she did well and we checked her on what needed checking. Fall back.)
