Despite long years of civil war, Mother Nature still has some say in the southern Sudan, particularly in Boma National Park.

Scientists are amzed to find this huge tract of land virtually untouched and are working with conservationists and politicians to preserve it while offering economic opportunities for Sudan's people. They must work quickly, as the possibility of war between northern and southern Sudan looms on the horizon.
